Recognized by National Geographic Adventure and Outside magazines as a “Best Place to Live” for those who like playing in the mountains, Teton Valley is close to celebrated attractions like Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks, forest trails, trout streams, abundant wildlife, and ski resorts.
UNLIMITED ACCESS TO THE OUTDOORS
Tributary is part of the 15-million-acre Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, one of the most intact ecological landscapes in the world encompassing Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. Yellowstone is a day trip and Grand Teton is even closer. Geology and wildlife abound in these all-season havens.
Teton Valley borders protected forests and wilderness that are home to moose, bears, elk, eagles, fox, trumpeter swans, and more, while The Fen at Tributary harbors more than 70 species of birds. For a true wildlife fix, “America’s Serengeti,” Yellowstone’s Lamar Valley can be visited in a day trip.
WE’RE ABOUT COMMUNITY, NOT CROWDS
About 15 miles wide and twice as long, Teton Valley is home to nearly 15,000 people, two stop lights, an emporium that makes the best huckleberry milkshakes around, a distillery, the Grand Targhee Ski & Summer Resort, summer farmer’s markets, microbreweries, a cidery, and an expanding food scene.
