David McLay-Kidd says the golf course he designed for Tributary “could be the best work [he’s] ever done.” Designing it, he complemented the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape in an exciting and environmentally conscious way that offers a challenge to golfers. Woven through the championship course are 50 acres of wetlands that provide habitat for native flora and fauna. Ready to distract you at almost every shot are the Big Hole Mountains and the Tetons rising in the distance. Tributary’s 16th hole is particularly breathtaking; golfers tee off facing the Grand Teton. During the winter months, members can refine their game on a variety of renowned courses on Tributary’s indoor golf simulator.

"The 7,621-yard layout of wide, contoured fairways has the potential to frequently position golfers in uneven stances for approach shots. Aggressively sloped greens play incredibly fast during the peak summer months, and many holes are interwoven around native areas punctuated by tall fescue grasses that gobble up not only wayward drives but shots that flirt with the edge and are doomed by an unlucky bounce."
