This new spec house overlooks a 5-acre pond within the 1,500-acre Tributary resort community in Idaho’s Teton Valley.
“We’re kind of a home base for outdoor recreation,” said Spain Short, Tributary’s director of real estate. Tributary owners are “very avid fishermen, very into skiing, and our golf course by David McLay Kidd is phenomenal.”
The property also features seven fly-fishing ponds, 500 acres of wetlands and a 2-mile-long elevated boardwalk for wildlife viewing, according to the listing.
Teton Valley is on the western side of the Teton Mountain Range, Short said. From the Jackson Hole airport, it is about a one-hour drive to the property.
“Teton Valley is known for being the quiet side of the Tetons,” he said.
“This home is at the center of our property,” Short said. “The ease of access to everything is phenomenal.”
t is a “short five-minute golf cart ride” from this mountain-modern home on Whistling Court to the clubhouse and other amenities, he said. Construction on the house is set to wrap up in late November or early December.
Tributary has an in-house construction team, and buyers can choose from 10 different home models, including this Teewinot Cabin model, Short said. They can purchase the homes in various stages of development and then select the indoor and exterior finishes they want.
“The Teewinot Cabins have a big open floor plan so you can have friends and family over, and they are not overly large,” he said. For outdoor entertaining, there is a covered deck and grilling area.
The home is on one level except for the living space above the garage, which has an entertainment room and a bunkroom, he said.
The front door opens to the great room, which has a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, rustic barnwood box beams and a wall of windows, Short said. There is also a fireplace in the primary bedroom suite.
